Got a camera? Got a holiday? Go for it!

Quantity - if you have a digital camera then you have NO excuse not to take loads of pictures. If you don't have a laptop to load them to, try an internet cafe, or buy an extra memory card - memory cards are really quite cheap from places like Micro Direct - this is where we stocked up last year for our Cornwall Holiday and we took hundreds of photos - the memory card was very cheap!

Quality - If you can take loads of pics you can take some snap happy ones and see if you have some good accidents with your camera or you can take some more composed and structred shots.

Common mistakes people make with their holiday photos -

• Too far away from the people you're taking a photo of.
• Lampposts sticking out of the top of people's heads
• too formal a pose - snap quicker to stop people getting that bored silly look
• trying to do everything in one photo
• running out of battery power. Ok I've done this several times. Batterys on holiday cost ££££ more than they do at home! So take spares or rechargables and a charger with you.
• Don't know how to use your camera? Learn - did it have an instuction manual?
• Too much posing. Take more natural pics of people doing stuff.
• Missing stuff by not having camera with you all the time.
