What do you get with the accomadation?

It is s equipped with everything you are likely to need with a good range of kitchen equipment, even a garlic press and cafetiere. There is no need to pack any pans, plates or utensils. Our accommodation even comes with outdoor furniture and parasols and (where permitted) barbecues.
YOu do need to take towels and tea towels though, and your own food. If you're coming on a day shops may be closed then bring essentials and basics but most food you'll want can be bought locally.

Bedding -
tent, you will need to take your own pillows, pillowcases, bedding and bed linen.
mobile home you will only need to take sheets and pillowcases as blankets and pillows are included in the inventory.

Accommodation - Key Facts - 10 December 2004

Keycamp offers a range of luxury 2 or 3 bedroom mobile homes or spacious 4-bedroom pre-erected tents. Over 80% of accommodation offered is in mobile homes. All Keycamp accommodation is equipped with outdoor furniture and a barbecue.

The Villa Range (sleeps 7/8)
In 2003 Keycamp introduced a 'Villa-style’ range of mobile home accommodation featuring pitched, tiled roofs, higher ceilings, extra insulation and double glazed windows. There are 5 models within the range:

· Villanova: Two models available, one with an end lounge (sleeps 7 – 26.4m²) and one with a central lounge (sleeps 6 – 29.2m²). All Villanovas feature a fridge-freezer, full-size oven, charcoal barbecue, stereo CD player and electric fan.
· Villagrand: Three models available, with up to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 2-bedroom Villagrand with 2 ensuite bathrooms (sleeps 7) is an ideal option for 2 couples sharing together, or a family with teenage children; the 3-bedroom Villagrand and Villagrand Deluxe each sleep 8 and feature microwaves, blackout blinds and mosquito nets on the windows, gas barbecues and electric fans.

The Grand Range (sleeps 7/8)
Keycamp’s Grand mobile homes offer a choice of 2 or 3 bedrooms and 1 or 2 bathrooms. Features include full-size double bed, hairdryer, CD player, gas barbecue and full-size fridge-freezer. Floor area ranges from 32.5m² to 38.6m².

The Supernova (sleeps 7)
Available in 2 different layouts, with an end or central lounge. Floor area is either 26.4m² or 27m².

The Classic (sleeps 5/6)
2-bedroom smallest mobile home offers excellent value for money, with between 20.1m² and 23.7m² of floor space, a fully-fitted kitchen and bathroom.

Keycamp Supertent (27.5 m²): sleeps 6
The Supertent offers bright and spacious holiday accommodation with 4 separate bedrooms. There’s a fitted kitchen with full-size fridge, enclosed storage unit, large worksurface, 4-burner cooker with grill, all household utensils and equipment, electric lighting and a charcoal barbecue.

Keycamp Holidays operates family camping holidays in Europe, selling around 40,000 family holidays annually to over 100 campsites throughout France and in Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Holland.

New for 2005 is the introduction of air-conditioning and decking on selected campsites throughout Europe. Linen hire is available on every site to cater for the growing number of customers opting for fly-drive packages. New campsites include Parco delle Piscine, Sarteano, in Tuscany, bringing the total number of sites to 106 in 7 European countries.

After a successful launch of Tumble Tots in the Vendée in 2004, Keycamp is introducing the programme at five of the most popular campsites in Brittany. Well-established as the UK’s leading provider of physical play programmes for toddlers, Tumble Tots is available from 21 May to 7 July, free for all Keycamp customers.

Accommodation is in a range of luxury 2 or 3 bedroom mobile homes or spacious 4-bedroom pre-erected tents. Over 80% of accommodation offered is in mobile homes and Keycamp’s largest model is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom mobile home. The latest addition to Keycamp’s range of mobile homes is a 'Villa' style mobile home which features pitched, tiled roofs, higher ceilings, extra insulation and double glazed windows.

Campsite facilities include swimming pool complexes, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, tennis, football, children’s play areas and evening entertainment.

Travel on any ferry route, on Motorail or fly-drive on any day of the week. Holidaymakers may take a single or multi-centre holiday, staying on site for as many days as they wish (minimum 3 nights) and arranging overnight stops on campsites or in hotels.

Babies and toddlers. Free Tumble Tots sessions are available on 5 of the most popular campsites in Brittany up until 7 July. There are two separate age-banded sessions for toddlers (walking to 2 years old) and for 2-3 year olds twice a week on each site. Mini Fun Station, which was introduced in 2004 for families with pre-school children, offers a free Keycamp-staffed play area on 16 campsites with activities 6 days a week. The service is free but parental supervision is required. On many of these sites, pre-bookable all-terrain buggies are available for hire at a cost of £2 per day.
Toddler Friendly: 35 sites have been identified as being more suitable for babies and younger children. Families staying on one of these sites before 1 July or from 27 August, will receive a free Toddler Tent as a play area or as protection from the sun.
Free cots, high chairs and baby baths are available at all sites and babysitting at some sites.

Children: up to 4 children (under 18) travel free on all holidays and there is a free age-banded children’s club, Fun Station, on selected campsites. Other benefits for children include free children’s packs, a games chest on all sites and children’s Adventure tents on selected sites.
Soccer Station is a free service, available to 5-16 year olds on two sites in northern France.

Family activity: Base (runs from 12/7-2/9) offers on and off site activities on 17 of the larger, livelier sites. Activities vary by site but include a range of family days out to local attractions, quiz evenings and social and sporting events. Certain sessions are exclusive to teenagers.

There is also a range of activity ideas designed to assist families looking for holiday ideas that involve land or water-based activities. Activities range from abseiling and quad biking to sailing and scuba diving.

Self-guided notes: Keycamp also offers detailed information on local wine and châteaux, cycling and walking routes and D-Day notes at selected campsites.

Prices: A 12-night holiday at Camping Des Sources, Santenay in Burgundy in May starts at around £265 per family inclusive of accommodation in a 4-bedroom tent (£365 in a mobile home) and return Dover-Calais ferry crossings, rising to £735 in a tent in August (£1035 in a mobile home).

Key Facts For Kids - 10 December 2004

Few holidays offer children the same level of freedom and independence, variety of facilities and the opportunity to meet children of their own age. Most campsites offer swimming-pools, children’s play areas, a range of sports facilities, mini-golf and some offer fishing, canoeing, riding, archery and cycle hire.

Up to 4 children (under 18) travel free on all holidays.

A free Fun Station children’s club for mixed ages operates on 53 campsites while an age-banded club, with separate clubs for those aged 4+, 7+ and 10+ operates on 28 campsites. This allows couriers to run a programme of events and activities tailored to the needs and interests of the age groups. Activities may include nature trails for the 4+, scavenger hunts for the 7+ and orienteering for the 10+ age groups.

Holiday example: A 12-night holiday at Castell Montgri, Estartit, Spain, costs around £867 per family in August, inclusive of accommodation in a 4-bedroom tent (£1167 in a mobile home) and return Dover-Calais ferry crossings. Keycamp runs a Fun Station club for 4+, 7+ and 10+, in addition to Base club for teenagers, at Estartit during peak season.

Sports:
Soccer Station is available to 5-16 year olds on two sites in northern France. The free sessions include a mixture of coaching, practice and matches, and will be run both morning or afternoon, six days a week.
