Weight allowances for checked baggage with Singapore Airlines are as follows:
First Class: 40 kg (88 lb)
Raffles Class: 30 kg (66 lb)
Economy Class: 20 kg (44 lb)

Infants are entitled to 10 kg (22 lb) of checked baggage. In addition, a fully collapsible stroller or pushchair, carrycot, and infant food may be checked without charge.

Their top selling destinations are Singapore, Christchurch and Auckland in New Zealand, Australia including Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisban, as well as Bali and Manila.

Singapore Airlines flys three times a day from London Heathrow, and once a day from Manchester to Singapore. They have onward connections available at Singapore to many destinations.

They will be the first airline to fly the A380 in 2007 and is planned to vbe used on the UK - Singapore - Sydney route.

Singapore Airlines - First To Fly The A380 - Come 2006, Singapore Airlines will be the first airline in the world to fly the first-ever fully double-decker aircraft, the Airbus A380-800. The Airline has ten aircraft on firm order and 15 on option. The order, announced in September 2000, is worth US$8.6 billion, including the cost of spares and installed engines (but not including the cost of spare engines).
